IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CARPET FITTERS

You are about to install a 100 % impervious, high performing carpet with an impervious layer between the backing and surface pile. The impervious layer is between the backing and the surface pile. This comprises of a barrier of laminated polypropylene, which allows no moisture penetration whatsoever, so the moisture content in an adhesive will not dry out or pass through the carpet.

Adhesive drying time is essential and the information contained within the adhesive manufacture’s guidelines should be strictly followed.

In order to prevent any attendant problems, it is essential that the installation is carried out with great care with absolutely no ‘short cuts’ taken and with the use of specified adhesives.

F Ball & Co and Laybond have kindly approved the adhesives detailed below. Marlings Ltd strongly recommends that you follow their installation instructions and recommendations without any deviation.

Marlings Ltd strongly recommends the use of a pressure sensitive adhesive when installing this product.

Note: when using a pressure sensitive adhesive it is essential to allow the adhesive to thoroughly dry prior to placing the carpet on to the subfloor.
